Built by Not On Our Watch Texas (NOWTX), NOW PlaySafe transforms critical online safety education into an engaging, age-appropriate experience that children actually enjoy. Through interactive scenarios, real-world decision-making challenges, and gamified learning, players develop practical skills to recognize online risks, protect their personal information, respond to unsafe situations, and make smart choices when interacting online.
Unlike traditional safety lessons, NOW PlaySafe meets kids where they are—using technology, storytelling, and interactive gameplay to reinforce essential digital safety concepts in a way that is memorable, impactful, and fun. The game covers topics including online privacy, safe communication, recognizing manipulation and grooming behaviors, reporting concerns to trusted adults, and building healthy digital habits.

Louisiana NOW PlaySafe™
Through a partnership with the Louisiana Governor’s Office of Human Trafficking Prevention, NOWTX has customized the NOW PlaySafe experience specifically for Louisiana children, families, schools, and youth-serving organizations.
The Louisiana edition of NOW PlaySafe delivers the same engaging, interactive online safety education while incorporating Louisiana-specific branding and resources. Players learn how to recognize online risks, protect their personal information, respond to unsafe situations, and develop healthy digital habits through fun, age-appropriate gameplay.
This customized version reflects Louisiana’s commitment to preventing online exploitation and empowering young people with the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate today’s digital world safely.
By making online safety education accessible, engaging, and free, the Louisiana NOW PlaySafe game helps families, educators, and communities work together to create safer online experiences for children across the state.
